The American Rider Portrait Series

THE AMERICAN RIDER portrait series
Faces of the motorcycle enthusiast and proud to be living in the USA.

I had a booth display at the EasyRider Bike Show Tour in Columbus displaying my motorcycle photography. I thought it would be sweet to capture portraits of bikers at the show. Bikers always have a bit of character and a interesting look compared to the every day Joe. From the leather cuts with patches displaying who they are all about, to big beards, sometimes big bellies, tattoos, HD apparel, it’s always a uninformed look. You can be a solo rider to being in a club, to a business man who rides on weekends or you could be a Military Veteran riding for a motorcycle group like the CVMA, a bike builder, and so on…
I was able to capture the wide range of people and tie them to my work. I took the person from quietly looking at my work, to feeling that they knew me and we’re apart of something by the time they left by booth. It was a great way to get interaction between me and the riders.
The great thing is with this series, is that you would have never known I photographed it at a convention show!
I’m a motorcycle rider myself, proud to be living in the USA and support our men and women that have or are serving for our country.

Balance Pan Asian Grille

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Balance Pan Asian Grille over the past several years creating content for their website, to in store digital signage, publication ads etc… They have been a great client to my business. They are more then a client they have become family/friends to me. Here is what Prakash Karamchandani co-owner of Balance Pan-Asian Grille said about working with me - “We have worked with Nick Amrhein for years on our media, and we keep going back for his unique style and willingness to dive deep into our brand culture for results that capture attention.”
Here’s to continuing a great relationship with my brothers over at balance and to keep creating great imagery for them!

Featured in the images is their new location in Perrysburg make sure to go check them out!

BIKER B-DAY

Last night we celebrated a few of my motorcycle friends birthday Noah Wolfe aka Nachos and Michael Schrickel aka Chop Machine Mike. Its been a few months now without riding the motorcycle and seeing any of these guys since then so it was great to see their faces. It made me realize how much I miss riding and the brotherhood/comradery it brings. These dudes are all down to earth, most of us come from a skateboard background and just all love to ride when it comes down to it.

I figured Id bring my new Fuji x100 camera to snag some random shots for fun. Hope you dig them.

Few more months and well be riding again so stoked for the 2016 Summer riding season!
